What is a Legacy Session like?

We kick off each session with a quick in-person or phone chat. I'll get the scoop on your pet, run through the studio details, and give you the rundown on what to expect. About a week later, we dive into a one-hour session. Worried your pup might freak out? If things go south during our session, no worries – we'll switch it up to an outdoor Rapid City location, on the house. Your pet's safety is our top concern.

After the session, we'll set up a studio date for you to swing by, check out the pics, and make your picks. These sessions are usually pet-free, but Mabel, our furry assistant, will be around to dish out kisses and cuddles. She's on a mission to earn that "Employee of the Month" badge, after all!

Surprisingly, many people are unaware that such a unique service even exists! This inspired me to establish the Black Hills' Only Pet-Focused Studio. My aim is to make celebrating these loyal animals a norm—to recognize and immortalize the unconditional love they provide. I want to offer people a way to keep that love alive, even when their beloved pets have crossed the rainbow bridge. Our pets hold a cherished place in our families, akin to children; therefore, why shouldn't they have their own dedicated photos adorning the walls?
